For more than thirty years, it has been a dream of Joyce Hampers’, founder of G2O Spa + Salon, to operate her business among the luxury brands housed at the top of Newbury Street. First opening near the Street’s terminus in 1994, where she brought the concept of the day spa to Boston, Joyce’s ever-evolving and forward-thinking vision has led her business closer and closer to that dream. By year’s end, Joyce will see this dream come true.

 

Always looking to meet the moment with its next iteration, G2O Spa + Salon will be moving to a new home at 71 Newbury Street by early December 2024, where we will continue to provide everyone who comes through our doors with the best hair, skin, massage, and nail care, through results-driven services and exceptional home care options. Being on Newbury Street places us in the heart of Boston’s most vibrant and high-end shopping district, giving clients the convenience of combining their wellness journey with other experiences.

 

We recognize and celebrate that today’s clients have embraced our decades-old message of wellness and self-care in a way that blends seamlessly into their everyday life. Previously, many of our clients were looking for an escape from their reality with a head-to-toe full day of pampering and lounging. Today’s client has adapted to a more balanced lifestyle and created an oasis for themselves, that they don’t need to escape from.

 

As such, we see our role in your lives has evolved to help maintain and compliment your individual wellness journey through our service providers’ expertise, recommendations, and guidance. G2O’s new home will not be about excess but about providing you with the luxurious essentials to help you feel and look like the best version of yourself.

  1. Where is G2O Spa + Salon moving to?
    We are excited to announce that G2O Spa + Salon will be relocating to 71 Newbury Street, just three blocks away from our current location. This new space will offer a more intimate and luxurious environment for your wellness needs.

 

  1. When is the move happening?
    We plan to complete the move by early December 2024. We will keep you updated throughout the process and announce our grand opening soon!

 

  1. Will my appointments be affected by the move?
    No, your appointments will remain the same throughout the transition. If any changes are necessary, we will contact you directly. You can continue to book and manage your appointments as usual.

 

  1. Can I still book appointments for the current location?
    Yes, you can continue to book appointments at our current location until we officially move. All services and booking systems remain the same until the transition is complete.

 

  1. What if I need to contact G2O? Will the phone number change?

No, our phone number will stay the same: 617-262-2220. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or to schedule appointments.

 

  1. Will the new location offer the same amenities?

While we will not have the amenities that we’ve previously offered, we are maximizing the new space to focus on what matters most—providing      personalized, results-driven services that make you feel and look your best.

 

  1. Are there any changes to memberships?

All current memberships are valid through November 20204, at that time, we will cancel all current memberships and keep you posted on new    membership packages for 2025.

 

  1. What about series or packages I’ve purchased?

Your series or packages will remain valid and unchanged. You can continue to use them at our new location without any interruption.

 

  1. Are gift cards still valid at the new location?

Yes, all gift cards will remain valid and can be used at our new location on 71 Newbury Street.

 

  1. Will your hours of operation change?

Yes! We are extending our hours to offer you more flexibility:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Sunday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

 

  1. What will happen to my loyalty points?

Your Loyalty Program points will remain valid and can be used at our new location. You are still able to earn and use points.

 

  1. Is there parking at the new location?

There are various parking garages and street parking around 71 Newbury street. More details to follow closer to the move-in date.
